At the forefront of Indian Classical Dance, dancer Kalamandalam Rejitha G Vijayan is a Leading Exponent of Indian Classical Dance and is a representative of Mohiniyattam and Bharathanatyam. From Thiruvananthapuram comes a committed, passionate, and inventive dancer. She attended Kerala Kalamandalam from 1997 to 2001. Her Teachers included Guru Kalamandalam Leelamma, Guru Kalamandalam Haimavathy, Guru Kalamandalam Sujatha, Guru Kalamandalam Lathika, and others. Under the guidance of Guru Kalamandalam Sujatha and Guru Kalamandalam Sreedevi, etc., She completed her advanced studies. Her dance field journey encompasses 24 years of dedication and experience. She had trained a large number of students over three generations, ranging in age from 5 to 50, as a dance instructor. Awards and Achievements are Doordarshan Television B Grade Artist, Education - Art - Cultural Award - 1995, Balakrishna Kurup Award - 2001 (Best Student of Kerala Kalamandalam), Kshemavathy Award - 2001 (Best Student of Kerala Kalamandalam), Sathyabhama Award - 2001 (Best Student of Kerala Kalamandalam). She is also a celebrated choreographer, has worked with actress Kavya Madhavan, excelled in classical dance shows, government cultural programmes, serving as a distinguished Guru and an accomplished performer too.
